This month's athlete of the month is Jeff Mitchell.Jeff, aka THE SILENCER, has made a strong showing in 2010. He started off the year with running Goofy Challenge completing the half in 1:46.34and coming back in 4:02 for the full marathon. While not quite up to par with his marathon PR of 3:21:35, Jeff still made a great showing in unseasonablycold weather for Florida, all the while, having a little fun through the Disney Parks. Jeff kicked his racing season into high gear when he returned to Michigan with a 5k PR at the Bill Rooney 5k running 19:34 (6:17 pace). He continued his hot start with a great showing at the Martian 10k in 41:41 for yet another personal record. Up next for Jeff ...the Bayshore HalfMarathon
